Our Mission - The Long Island Chapter of the National Aging in Place Council is a non-profit group of local, reputable professionals who serve the local senior community. Our mission is to provide seniors with the resources they need to age in place. Our expertise and services are available to Long Island seniors and to the local community.
Definition of a Member in Good Standing—
1. Attend 50% of monthly meetings in a calendar year
2. Follow Code of Conduct
Each member will be evaluated on a semi yearly basis by the advisory board. A member that is not in good standing will not be referred clients until they have regained good standing status.

How are Referrals Handled?
When any senior contacts the organization for a referral, the senior is given the contact information for all of our members (in good standing) that could assist them.
