When American Shower and Bath and Aqua Glass, two separate companies owned by MASCO Corporation, a leader in new construction and remodeling building products, were merged in 2009 it led to the formation of Masco Bath. Masco Bath, headquartered in Moorestown, NJ, manufactures and sells a full line bathing system products under the Delta, Peerless, American Shower and Bath and Aqua Glass brands.

A 60-inch Delta® brand Transfer Bathtub offers a comfortable, accessible bathing experience for all users. The Transfer Bathtub is one of several Delta Universal Design Bathing Systems products.
"We designed the Transfer Bathtub with its exaggerated side ‘bump’ to offer a safer bathing experience for people with limited mobility, as well as provide assistance to caregivers," said Steve Chmielewski, Universal Design Product Manager for the Delta brand. "But the features of this product are features that enhance the bathing experience for anyone, from very small children to adults with full mobility, while its details and design allow it to fit into any home’s décor without looking conspicuous."
Several innovative features are integrated into the Transfer Bathtub to help enhance its safety and accessibility. A flip-up bench allows bathers to sit at a comfortable height that makes it easy to get in and out. The bench can be flipped up or removed completely, allowing the Transfer Bathtub to be used like a conventional bath/shower unit.
Ergonomic handles positioned on the sides of the bathtub provide stability and assistance while entering and exiting. A backrest molded into the bathtub basin adds comfort. A bump-out transfer area on the edge of the bathtub allows for easy transfer in and out, and provides an area for caregivers to sit.
The Transfer Bathtub is shipped complete with all grab bars factory-installed, which are available in polished chrome or brushed stainless steel.
The 60" x 32" Delta brand Transfer Bathtub is made of durable acrylic. It is certified by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO). It comes with a 3 year limited warranty for commercial use and a 5 year limited warranty for residential use.
