Ambiguous loss is described as one that occurs without closure or understanding. For families impacted by dementia, the experience of ambiguous loss can be a daily occurrence.
Thomas Baird has been working in elder care settings for the past eight years, including time in hospice and palliative care programs. He earned his Master's degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, and also holds a Master’s degree in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary.
